Brand refresh for a chain of gourmet sandwich shops
Hannah’s Bretzel is a gourmet sandwich shop with 7 locations downtown Chicago. They make insanely tasty food, provide healthier nutrition on-the-go, and do it with the smallest environmental footprint possible. After being in business for 8 years, they brought us in to evaluate and evolve their brand experience. Keeping with their minimal, modern aesthetic, we decluttered their in-store communications, simplified their messaging and injected personality throughout. This resulted in new menus, wall graphics, packaging, ads, signage, vehicle wraps, apparel, promotional items, tradeshow booths, and more.
After touring all of Hannah’s Bretzel’s locations and having a few meetings about what they hoped to accomplish, we gave a presentation of our ideas on how we could improve the customer experience by making communication more clear, simplifying what felt complicated and creating more cohesion between the stores and collateral. We introduced a new illustration style, redesigned their menu system to simplify the ordering process and make it easier to update, and revamped their in-store advertising, among many other projects. We also helped them conceptualize their 107 S Franklin store to plan and design the graphics, wayfinding and signage for the entire interior.
